First, a toast 🍻
“Here’s to friends and family who know us well, but love us just the same.”
Easy come, easy go. That’s the saying. But what if the “go” part isn’t actually so easy? So often, we as humans tend to look for greener pastures when verdant fields lay just below our feet. This phenomenon has led few (but still too many) on the Bottlecapps’ platform to grazing in the meadows of other ecommerce platforms, only to quickly realize the new grass was actually that fake rubber grass used in indoor stadiums. Looks nice, but bland and has no nutritional value. It’s best to learn from the experience of others rather than finding out the hard way for yourselves (hate to say, we told ya so 🤷🏻♂️)
On the other side of the coin, however, are the ones that have been with Bottlecapps since we were in our infancy; the ones that stuck around from the very beginning and grew with us! These stores get a tip of the cap for being way ahead of the curve in terms of ecommerce and were among the very first stores in North America to get an app with Bottlecapps. Period. Back when Corona was just a beer, not a virus, these were the store partners that helped pave the way…
Bubbles Liquor World - Castle Rock, Colorado
One of the largest liquor stores in Colorado, if not the world, Bubbles has over 30,000 square feet of space to browse adult beverages. Bubbles’ staff is in elite territory, loaded to the gills with expertise. We’re talking 3 Sommeliers, 5 wine experts, 2 Cicerones, and a large, well trained staff in general.
Hops Scotch & Vinery - Odessa/Midland, Texas
There may not be a friend as close to Bottlecapps in all the land, nor a friend as forward thinking, as store-owner Morgan. Hops Scotch is run by a savvy businessman who led his stores into the future by getting an ecommerce App and Website long before any Liquor store within hundreds of miles of his part of the Lone Star State. If you're ever road-tripping through the gorgeous and scenic western part of Texas, stop in and say hello to the affable Mr. Morgan!
Sigman Bottle Shop - Conyers, Georgia
Many years ago when Bottlecapps first started navigating the then relatively uncharted ecommerce waters of the alcohol industry, the search was constantly on for unique solutions to help stores gain more online customers. Then Sigman stepped up and showed us how. Sigman created the “Crown Royal Peach Phenomenon” as we like to call it. With a super limited release, demand for Crown Peach was exploding across the country in 2019. Sigman offered the product for pre-sale IN-APP ONLY, which led to absolutely record-breaking numbers of downloads for that time. If you wanted a bottle, you had to reserve it through the app. It worked so well, we still reference this phenomenon today.
I.M. Gan Discount Liquors - Warwick, Rhode Island
Hailing from the smallest state in the union, I.M. Gan Discount Liquors is big on personality and service. Everyone leaves with a smile and the staff is a big reason for that; easy to talk to and an overall great sense of humor. We’ve gotten some great feedback from this relationship and all of our stores are better for it.
C&C Liquor - Fort Collins, Colorado
This is a store that really knows how to deliver. Literally. Customers love the service C&C provides and customer after customer raves about how great of an experience ordering was for them. C&C has an old school “customer first” mindset while also keeping a keen eye on future trends. They are run by a smart team with an eye for how to run a business the right way.
Micky Finn’s - Florence, South Carolina
Micky Finn’s and their 2 locations hold the title of Bottlecapp’s first South Carolina Stores. On-platform since 2017, the folks at Micky Finn’s have seen Bottlecapps evolve from a fledgling startup to a leading force in Bev-Alc Ecommerce, and we for one are proud to still call them partners today! Micky Finn’s has long serviced the Florence community (and the state) as the One Stop Party Shop, with everyday great prices and deals!
Village Green Spirit Shop - Ellicott City, Maryland
Village Green has been with Bottlecapps for as long as anyone, and was one of the first stores in the country to fully embrace ecommerce with their own store app. After working in the alcohol industry for over two decades, Owner Scott always dreamt about someday buying a liquor store of his own. In 2016, that dream came true. Since then, Scott has always been a progressive minded businessman with an outstanding reputation for treating customers very well.
