When we started this monthly newsletter close to 7 months ago, we had a relatively small reach. However, in just a short time, we’ve seen our audience grow to over 10,000 strong! So, while this portion of the newsletter would typically simply shine a spotlight on a few of our stores around the country, this month we decided to change it up a bit.

Since Florida was hit so hard by not one, but TWO hurricanes already this fall, we thought it would be appropriate to use this edition to try to do some real good with this ever-growing audience.

With so much damage and so many people trying to pick up the pieces, oftentimes it’s pets that get lost or left behind. After Hurricane Ian, thousands of pets faced this unfortunate scenario and local animal shelters were not able to take in any more animals. Shelters around the country had to step in and lend a hand. If that wasn’t bad enough, the second storm just struck Florida and only exacerbated the situation.

So, Bottlecapps thought we could try to raise some money and help those animals and the shelters that are really struggling right now.

Now through the end of December, Bottlecapps will be donating a portion of all Florida orders to Best Friends Animal Society, one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in America.

We also know these storms have taken a toll on the hard-working people just trying to keep their businesses open during these stressful times, so our goal this month is two-fold; (1) raise some money for Best Friends Animal Society, and (2) help our Florida retail partners along the way

Bottlecapps has over 200 Florida store-partners. Let’s see what we can do!

Our thoughts are with Florida. Hopefully, this effort makes a difference. And as an aside, for anyone looking for tips on how to prepare yourself and your pets for a natural disaster, Best Friends Animal Society has some great tips.
