Today is a very special edition of Drinking Buddies as we get the opportunity to celebrate with a longtime partner of ours; Davidsons Beer Wine & Spirits. And why are we celebrating? Well, there are countless reasons …

… actually, there are exactly five million reasons 😉

Davidsons officially surpassed $5,000,000 in orders through their Bottlecapps’ app and website in just over three years. By any standard, that’s extraordinary. In fact, this summer has been a season of tremendous milestones for our Mile High friends; over 20,000 locals have downloaded their app or shopped on their website with over 35,000 orders placed. That’s a lot of happy customers!

And it’s not by accident. When you walk into a Davidsons store, you see how integrated their eCommerce and Brick and Mortar are with each other. 

Based in the Denver area, Davidsons joined Bottlecapps three years ago and brought with them an aggressive marketing mindset unlike almost any other store we had seen up until that time. Rather than sitting back and waiting for customers to stumble upon their app or website, they took some risks and invested in marketing efforts early on, starting with wrapping their delivery van:
